My Head-Aches!
I have a terrible headache. Augh. I think it might even be a migrane. I don’t know why I get these headaches now. I never used to have them. I am wondering if it’s because of my PCOS. Any other PCOS’ers out there suffer of migraines? I am just wondering if I’m the only one. I just start to freak out that I have a brain tumor or something after watching “Mystery Diagnosis” on t.v. the other day. LOL I start to think, “OMG, it’s an Aneurysm!!! I’m gonna die!!!” LOL I know it’s funny but seriously… I start to freak out. I will bring it up to my doctor at my next appointment. I’m thinking it’s my hormones acting all whack. I dunno. *sigh* I have it so bad today I can’t even be on the computer too long. I can’t even freakin’ concentrate. I took an 800mg Ibuprofen pill, went to lay down in bed and fell a
somehow. It hasn’t really gone away but it’s not as bad as it was. As soon as I woke up from my nap, I felt the pain again. At least when I was
ing, I didn’t feel the pain but the stupid telemarketers on the phone woke me up! ArrrrrrGGGHHHH! [Ana's head twinges in pain]
I’m ready to pop another pill to be honest. This sucks ass.

I too am a migrane sufferer. I notice I get ‘em when the weather is changing and I’m about to start my period. The only thing I can do is
‘em off. Thankfully it’s been a while since I’ve had one…hope you feel better Anna.

That show scares me. I watch it and then for the rest of the week I keep “looking” for symptoms. On numerous occasions I have thought I for sure was dying. I started getting migraines when I was pregnant with my daughter. The OB/GYN said since I couldn’t take anything other than tylenol to alternate hot and cold compresses on my forhead and the base of my head. It seemed to work. It may help. The weather sometimes has to do with my migraines. I would say keep a log of when and how often you get migraines. Note the intensity, how you react, if you are sensitive to light and sound (when I get a really bad one even the slightest light irks me), and if you notice that you seem to be getting them regularly or only at certain times you might consider talking to your doctor for a referral to a neurologist. It’s just a suggestion of course. I hope you feel better! :o)

Definatly mention it to your Doc. Migraines need to be monitored, I have a CT Scan done every year. I have had them for going on 10 yrs and they are the worst. They will especially want to know if you get them regularly cause while PG, there is really nothin you can take. Lucky for me, when I am pregnant I never got them, the Docs figured something about the hormones helped it, I figured it was God.
I get 3-4 a year and they sometimes make me cry. The shaking, throwing up, blinding pain, not fun.
I hope it got better, best thing for them is dark, cold, quiet rest. And drugs if you got them ;)

Hello
My wife used to get 3 to 4 day migranes approx. once a month. They have gone down in frequency now that she has double her daily preventative meds (sando…something). Anyways I am convinced their is a link to these symptomes to her PCOS. I did con across your pages when doing some research for her to read and maybe think about stating to take care of herself. yah yah..I know there has to be some will on her bart…But I am going to tire of being a single father of four for 4 days at a time at a drop of a hat. This does sound selfish on my part but…it has been 12 years now. Even the children ask…why does mommy not do anything further to take care?
Sorry for the venting….
To awnser again there **must** be a link PCOS+migranes
